halloween'd" out.
this year, at our ward's trunk or treat party, we out did ourselves. we set up the old industrial-strength cotton candy machine. you would have thought we were passing out free money. the masses of people gathered around our car was
obscene. it was so much fun!
i would like to point out that the temperature outside, at the time this picture was taken, was a freezing 35 degrees. however, i was not about to sacrifice my new parka's sleeve to sticky blue cotton candy. (that is my mom's super cute
halloween quilt in the background!)
every
halloween, our office has a huge potluck lunch. it is a blast! my mom pulled out all the stops this year with her costume.
ok, not really, but for my mom the hat was a stretch! :)
jim just wanted an excuse to wear eye makeup and nothing but a sheet.
i was not very happy that my frosting came out grey instead of black. however, i am never willing to sacrifice taste for looks, so i always shy away from adding too much food coloring. this is one of my famous ice cream cakes. someone asked me how i churn my own ice cream...... i am a domestic diva, but not
that big of one!
louis had a grand old time passing out candy to trick-or-
