a little lady

she has arrived! about a month ago, i took portraits of stephanie while she was still pregnant with A. and last week, i finally met this baby girl and took some portraits of her very own.

when i first arrived, A was still sleeping soundly.

but then i kept bugging her with my camera...... and she wasnt too pleased. i love that face!

A is snuggling on the quilt my mom made while i was pregnant with tagg (in case he turned out to be a girl), maybe i will be able to use it this time around..... :)

it was very sweet to capture the daddy-baby time. she was such a cute little thing. i forgot how incredibly SMALL babies are (and she was a couple pounds bigger than tagg!). i felt like i was going to break her!

dental prom

last week, craig and i attended the dental prom. it was held at the space needle (on serisouly THE most beautiful nite ever) which i had never been to. it is always fun meet people from craig's school and put the faces with the names. however, i still cannot get over the amount of slutty dresses and drunk men (keep in mind, these people will be working on YOUR teeth someday verrrry soon!) in dumb & dumber tuxedos. quite frightening.

if tagg says so, then it must be!

have you ever seen such bucky-beavers? good thing his daddy is a teeth man..... tagg is going to need it.

oh yeah, and yes, i AM PREGNANT. 12+ weeks along. due august 28th. c-section around the 20th. everything is going well. feeling great. not going to find out the sex.... again! tagg is very excited and loved seeing the baby on the "t" (ultrasound screen). possible names: boy: sullivan or finley. girl: tess, scarlet or harper.

very VERY happy.

valentines day in sandpoint

we just returned from a long weekend in sandpoint, idaho. our family friends have a home there and we pinch ourselves every time they invite us along. this is our second year in a row being there on valentines day. this year, all the adults went to dinner together to celebrate. the lobster crepes..... to die for.

the ladies and their roses. we felt like we were on the bachelor. that show has ruined long stem roses for me! we had a fabulous evening and throughout our entire time in idaho. i love spending time with my family and friends in such an amazing place.

valentines for my valentines

a couple of days ago i decided to make sugar cookies for tagg and craig. i love valentine's day.

i even took it a step further and let tagg help out. he was amazed by all the sugars.

and loved putting them on his cookies.

look at those pudgy little hands and feet. i just want to nibble on those!

basically i just wanted an excuse to bring out my pink cake stands. oh yeah, and i wanted to make valentine cookies for my boys.

understatement of the year: these pictures dont do the visit justice

brady, jocelyn and lucy came to visit us last week. they arrived just in time for tagg's birthday. we all celebrated at outback. dont even get us started on the poor quality of this picture. especially because the picture-taker said (after taking it and looking at the image) "oh yeah, thats a good one!". really?

the next day we ate at lunchbox down in ballard. i take lunchbox very seriously so i did not appreciate brady teasing me by saying he needed to make a stop at mcdonalds afterwards because he was still hungry. :)

afterwards, we crammed into the car and drove up to the cle elum cabin. it was SO cold when we got there that we had to huddle near the fire. after the babies went to sleep we made donuts and watched movies. very fun.

the last nite the smiths were here jocelyn and i walked around target (yup. thats our idea of vacationing) while the boys played rock band.

of course i was glad to see brady and jocelyn but really i just wanted to play with this little lady. she was such a delight and i loved having a baby around (so did tagg!). i also loved having a girl to shop for and may have made jocelyn buy multiple outfits for miss lucy.

so. these are the most pathetic pictures ever. they are kind of boring and do not even come close to documenting the amazing time we had with our bestest friends.
