girls in portland

a few weeks ago tess and i drove down to portland to visit jocelyn. it was our first mommy/daughter trip and tess was an angel. (this is our gas station selfie)

as soon as we got into town we drove over to the historic part of camas to shop and have dinner. fantastic mexican food. just girls!

then we came home and put tess and lucy in cute jammies.

brady was kind enough to stay with the kids while they slept so we could grab some DELICIOUS salt and straw ice cream. the trail mix flavor blew my mind. just ask jocelyn. 

the following morning tess was looking super cute in lucy's bumbo.

while jocelyn took lucy and tucker to gymnastics i walked around her neighborhood. look at this gorgeous street she drives on to get to church!

i know we say it all the time. but man are we lucky to live so close now. til next time, j. 

tess and big girl food!

tess enjoyed her first bites of big girl food (rice cereal) a few weeks ago and loved it. i have since given her apple baby food and banana baby food. she gobbles everything up. such a piggy. 

easter!

we had a wonderful easter last sunday. this was the table all set up for brunch with craig's family.

the day before easter, craig worked, so the boys and i dyed easter eggs. messy (and frustrating. cant the boys just dye the eggs how i want them to be dyed?!) but very fun.

i want to eat these two.
