just a thought
for the past month or so, i have had a grand old time tinkering around with my new camera. i have completed a couple of photo shoots and now i am to the point where i would love to book some more!

a little bit different effect on this one...... we had to walk through stinging nettle to get to this location but jess had found it while taking our family pictures and i just had to go back.
this was all for a shoot i did for N's senior pictures.

the gee's all got together for my first family photo shoot. it was a lot of work but i loved capturing the different personalities. we had great fun.

and then, of course i love taking pictures of babies. a big thanks to my little cherub for putting up with a camera being shoved in his face all day.

*i dont apply lipstick to my baby. blogger doesnt exactly agree with photoshoped pictures so the colors comeout looking a little wonky. but you could imagine how this effect would be cool on a girl.... right?...... poor tagg*

so, if anyone would like me to take some shots for: christmas cards, baby announcements, engagement, maternity, senior pictures, formals, or anything else..... just let me know! (forwhitney@gmail.com) thanks!

tagg absolutely loves to chew on any kind of tag he can get his grubby paws on. haha. no but seiously, he will be doing a heck of a lot more chewing now because........ da da da daaaa........ his first tooth started to poke through today! i am so proud of my little boy. we love you, bubba. just NO biting.
post script: today, i found him in his crib STANDING. he stands any second he can get (holding on to something, of course). i dont read development books, so i dont know the "normal" timeline.... but i wonder if tagg is an eager beaver...(his mommy was a bucky beaver, so i guess it would only make sense! :) )

some tricks
he is pretty much a loon. whats with the opening and closing of the mouth (otherwise known as the toothless wonder) like a fish? and let it be known that i loathe videos because i hate hearing myself talk baby-talk. so, you arent alone in being annoyed by me.

tagg and his mimi
my mom has been waiting and waiting for tagg to stretch out his arms for her to hold him. and he started doing that trick in the last week or so. they sure do love each other!

and speaking of love, tagg had this little nugget of love made for him right before our san diego trip. its his fall quilt and i am obsessed with it.

dontcha just want to cuddle up with this little pumpkin pie?

there and here
we just got back from our vacation in san diego. my boys and i had a great time visiting with family and friends, eating good food, and site seeing. on the flight there, i gave tagg a "B+" (he slept most of the way). however, on the flight back, tagg recieved one huge "F". he screamed the last half of the flight. but honestly, how can you stay mad at this little face and those two little fingers?!

tagg was ecstatic to be in his momma's homeland.

haha. you know how most people find their church's service while they are on vacation? yeah. we found ours.

i just couldnt handle this two-story target. it was bananas. craig didnt come in the store with me, so i had to take this picture to show him the cart-escalator.

tagg LOVED auntie brookie's pool. it was only pool weather for like three days of our vacation, but tagg relished every minute in the water he could get.

tagg also loved auntie brookie's puppy: MELVIN. hahaha. that hat looks so funny on him. its getting on the small side....

happy sweet 16th, anna!

a boy after his mother's heart!  i am trying to train tagg early to love halloween. (it is my absolute favorite holiday) and these glow-in-the-dark jammies are perfection. thanks, joce!

so, here it is

ok. so i think it went pretty well. N was a good sport and we had great fun running all around redmond.

seasonally appropriate.

loved the pop of pink

i love the sun around her hair... like a little halo. and of course, my favorite fence.

this is the brick wall that started it all.  thanks, N. you were terrific.

lately, i have been taking pictures with my new camera and then tinkering around with photoshop on them. its pretty addicting.

tagg is such a good sport to get all dressed up and sit in weird places just so that i can get the shot.

today, we went to the property where craig and i had our wedding reception and had a little photo session.

same fence!  plus a few years and tagg.

tucker has been more than willing to take part in my photography practicing. that way, he gets new facebook profile pictures daily.
not that there is anything wrong with red hair, but i just want to set the record straight that my son doesnt have it. the editing i did with this one put a weird tint on the ten strands tagg has on his head.

so, the point of this post was to express my antsy-ness about this tuesday...... anna's (my cousin, pictured above in yellow) friend has asked me to take her senior pictures. i am so flattered but also a wee-bit nervous. i have been practicing all weekend for my gig and i hope my first client (ha!) enjoys the results.

a summer romance
at first, tagg wasnt too sure about mae.

he had to ask craig if everything was on the up and up and the situation....

after getting the go-ahead, tagg went in for the kill. i love little kids with pets; there is something so innocent and sweet about it.
