december
we had a very busy and festive december. i tried to fit evvvvvvery tradition in. it felt like we were doing something every night. but i like it that way. first up was molbaks.
trying to find a tree. i didnt like a single one at our usual tree farm so we ended up having craig's uncle get one for us from a legit mountain man.
the boys preformed at the local senior's home for their christmas recital. they both did so well.

we found this super old (like craig looked it up and its prolly from 1910ish) metal toy truck way underneath the foundation of our home. it was where the backyard of this house would have been back then. i love thinking about the little boy who played with it. hope he wasnt too sad when he lost it in the yard! :)
my grandma made huck's stocking! i looooove seeing all six of our stockings hung on the mantle.
seeing santa at our ward party. you can do it, tagg!
craig bought a razor thing and i took it for a muddy spin. fun!
our absolute favorite christmas boy.
we drove up to the pass to play in snow for a bit.
sully was done.
tagg's favorite part of the day was stopping by the burger and milkshake stand on the way home. he needs a shirt with that motto (minus the caffeine) on it.
bellevue lds nativity. they always do such a great and classy job.
snowflake lane had floats this year! and i didnt fight with a lady. so win win.
ornament and cookie exchange with my girls.
huck's very proud of his new trick of sitting in the shopping cart.
exhibit b. those little legs!

off to her christmas performance at school.
ice skating at redmond town center. tess felt JUST like elsa.
i made mini gingerbread houses for craig's girls at work.
then we decorated normal size gingerbread houses at megans house. look at that group!
craig took the boys skiing several times in december. i love seeing the pictures of their progress!
i took the kids to the elementary school dance. tess was in hog heaven.
if i ever couldnt find huck....... he was eating wrapping paper under the tree.
fancy dinner with everyone before the christmas carol. sully came for the first time this year. and has only had about 191923 nightmares since. i told him to cover his eyes!
craig didnt get it.
yummiest christmas cookie.
fancy christmas spirit!
santa (ahem.... ga!) hosted a friday night at the fun center bowling alley. it was soooo fun. tess knew it was ga but kept up the charade and followed santa around everywhere.
huck loved santa too!
annual nordstrom christmas party with santa and my mom.
santa beard sugar cookies!

 fourth of july!
we had a wonderful fourth of july this year. the sun was out and we were able to spend plenty of time with family and friends.
i made these little bald eagle cupcakes for a party we attended. i was pretty proud of them until someone said "i love your duck cupcakes!".
we went to the bothell parade with craigs parents. the kids love getting all the junk candy and hearing the LOUD boom from the seafair pirates' cannon.
sully and huck had matching tshirts. my little firecrackers.
after the parade we went back home so the boys could light off a few fireworks of their own. tess was so cute covering her ears.
i had also made these festive berry creamsicles. the white stripe was my favorite. it was yogurt mixed with cream and fresh lime juice. soooooo tasty.
we went to our friends' house the lake for their annual fourth of july party. the view and food was top notch.
afterwards, we went to our favorite fireworks show. it is seriously THE best. super long/impressive show, free admission and hassle free parking. doesnt get better.
my mom with huck and his ear muffs!
happy fourth! honestly, one of the best days of the year.

easter with cotton!
dang easter is a whole lot cuter with a lionhead bunny!
he behaved perfectly for his photoshoot. my kind of bunny.
we had our annual easter egg hunt with friends. the kids are all getting so big!
i had so much fun making these paper flowers for tess' bunny ears.
this cake might have turned out pretty but i didnt love the rice paper grass. i do not approve of sacrificing flavor for looks. next time i might do tinted coconut instead.
cotton!
easter morning. (after we had said family prayer and talked about the real reason for the day and before i could find tess' new easter pjs)
found them! and she found cotton. :)
a wonderful day filled with family, the gospel, yummy food, partial sun and of course, cadbury eggs.

st patricks day
it took quite a long time to separate a huge box of lucky charms.... the marshmallows from the non-marshmallow things..... but it was worth it. :)
a little leprechaun.
