the month of love and birthdays
guess huck loves meringue as much as i do.
tagg wanted to skip school and go skiing with his best friends for his tenth birthday. sounded good to me!
craig said they had a ton of fun.
i might not have gone skiing with the boys but i made sure to have a themed dessert for tagg when he got home!

finished his birthday festivities at the dirty bird of course.
they had a wax museum at school where all the fourth graders stood around in the gym and waited for parents to come around and press the "buttons" on their hands. then each kid would start speaking as if they were that famous person and describe their life. tagg was the founder of nike. :)

we went up to the pass to play in the snow for a minute.
huck!
they opened a salt and straw in seattle!!!!!!

on my birthday we went back to salt and straw. huck didnt mind.

we out to dinner with my parents.
and bowling/fun center with my friends.

and finished it all off with a cake with the kids and cotton. a pretty perfect birthday.
they asked me to help with the ward valentines party. it sure is hard to make the church gym look less church gym-y but i tried.
cutest cupids!
sully's valentines.
taggs.
tess'. and those are mini tennis ball gum balls.
x's and o's pancakes for vday morning.
thats a lotta red food dye. :)
good thing i was able to salvaged a few mini heart pavlovas from huck's grasp.
everything pink!
on valentines day we drove over to our friends house in sandpoint idaho. it had been a while since we were there in the winter time. it was stunning!

the boys skied at schweitzer while we were there. go sully!
while tess, huck and i stayed behind and made an ice rink on the lake!

tagg & sully loved having a sleep over downstairs in the toy room each night.
huck was one dang cute snow bunny. we had a great time in sandpoint and are grateful for generous and fun friends!
matching nike brothers.

huck's first time in the car shopping cart. he thought he owned the place.

speaking of owning the place. "my heart is in havana". the head jerk and closed eyes.... she uses the kitchen counter as her stage daily.

i took huck and tess down to southern california with my parents to celebrate my moms birthday. our first stop was shake shack at the new UTC. huck was loving his shake shack shake.
had to make a stop at brooke's target for the essentials. this is how huck rolls around in shopping carts (much to fellow shoppers and employees displeasure). all my babies have done it! thats tess on the left at around the same age.
girls' late night hot tubbing.
my dad kept tess down in san diego on saturday (they went to the zoo and had a blast) so brooke, my mom, huck and i could spend the up in orange county. we had a wonderful, sunny lunch at bear flag and then snarfed down like 1823098 baking bettys cookies from fashion island.
after getting to our hotel, cleaning up a bit and letting our lunch digest we headed back out for dinner at pizzeria mozza and thriftys chocolate malted crunch ice cream. fooooood.
the following day it was DISNEYLAND.
it was a perfect day. we took it slow and enjoyed shows and rides we dont normally do. it was very fun. clearly.
the group getting ready for pirates.
mark twain riverboat in the sunshine. perfection!
these two.
we love brooke and her pool! a very fun february.
