a trip back to my homeland
(san diego, NOT the zoo! haha.) craig, taggart and i just returned from our trip to san diego. the first stop when we got into town was the san diego zoo......
...per brady's request. brady & jocelyn flew down to meet us in san diego. that made the trip a billion times more funner.
tagg reaaaallly liked the animal statues around the zoo.
the smiths.

the smiths.

look at that chubby little finger. tagg really wanted to show us....
OTIS, the hippo. tagg could have watched otis float around the pool for hours.
instead, he just "took a nap" on otis' head.
my favorite part of the day was the gondola ride above the zoo. the cool breeze felt SO nice.
jocelyn's cute pregnant belly.
i just HAD to get a souvenir for tagg from the zoo. he loved his polar bear.
please do not ask why this gorgeous butterfly is on the ground. lets just say that brady has good (or in this case, bad) aim.
the only person who loves tagg more than i do is TAGG. he was so happy with himself in these cut-out thingys.
um yeah. he be crazy.
riding up the sky walk.
my little orangutan.
the next day, we hit up del mar. it was a whopping 105+ degrees.
jocelyn and brady.
jocelyn (cute & beach-y) and me (wet and sunglass-y)
the boys digging in the sand. tagg was loving life.
me & jocelyn at dinner later that nite. guess where.
the gorgeous and selfless hostess. brooke & scott were so incredibly generous to offer their home/cars to us. we LOVE them.
please excuse the fact that i look like satan in this picture. this was me & jocelyn making those special 24 hour cookies.
the boy and his gun.
brooke's backyard. its a freaking resort.
craigy weggy.
hot tubbing. we figured out the perfect combination: body in the pool + arms in the hot tub.
we had a fabu time on our trip. but louis sure did miss us. it was nice getting back home and nuzzling up to this fluff.
whenever i visit san diego i remember what a special place it is. we had a great time with the smiths and my family. what an amazing week.
