april
first night in maui.
craig at secret beach. 

we had the entire place to ourselves. it was magical.


you know what else is magical? fruity drinks in a pineapple. just ask tess.

we loved visiting the HUGE turtles on ho'okipa beach.
but didnt necessarily love the fresh coconuts.

we love having momo with us. 

getting some much needed sun. it was VERY rainy spring.

what is it with dads throwing their kids high up in the air? idk. but they love it. 

and tess sure does love craig.

the boys had a constant rotation between body surfing in the ocean, catching lizards in the bushes & playing in the pool. they were loving life. 

my mom watched the kids so craig and i could go have a nice dinner out. the sunset was gorgeous. 

easter!

the easter bunny made sure huck didnt feel (too) left out back at home in seattle. i am beyond grateful to my amazing MIL and the other girls who made it possible to be baby-free in hawaii. the only way to be!

the hotel had a nice egg dying set up.

i took craig to black sand beach for the first time this trip. he liked it. especially the crazy road to get to it.

PURE HAPPINESS.

we love our nightly walk to the ice cream store.


and the kids can never get enough of chasing the torch guy around.

we rented the huuuuuuuge megalodon paddle board this time so we could all go together. it was very fun.

craig does such a great job playing with the kids. 

and finding flowers to put in tess' hair each night.

but we were happy to be back to huckymomo. and tess is the best sharer.

sully has had a great time playing baseball this year. hes even been called up to AAA! 

and its been quite the season of wrestling this BUSY guy at his brothers' games. im grateful for grandparents who come to help.



she wanted to be called nephi for a few days. shes one spiritual giant. :)

tucker and lauren came to visit. we had fun bbqing and going to tagg's baseball game. i love getting a picture with my brothers. 
grant's parents came into town so we allllll got together (for the first time in 25+ years) for ice cream. it was very fun catching up. 
craig threatened to get rid of the girls because they werent laying eggs anymore. a few days later..... i went and found these beauties in the coop. haHA! 


sully and johnny are the best of friends. they spend every single waking moment together. true love right here.

march
king arthur cake donuts are the most delicious thing ever. especially their frosting recipe. 
our annual oscar party. darkest hour, wonder, lady bird, greatest showman, boss baby, baby driver, the shape of water, lady bird, i tonya, battle of the sexes, baby driver, i tonya and the disaster artist. taylor and my mom won the costume contest for sure. although craig's shiny fish crop top was pretty aweso

going all out.
but still not as much as my mom.

we went down to portland to meet baby mason. he was sooooo cute and squishy. 
jocelyn and i took the older kids to a michael jackson laser show. haaaaaa.
these two little best buds stayed up until midnight. "i can see an 11 & another 11".
the next day we drove into the city for burgers and ice cream. we have a lotta kids!

tucker and sully are the cutest.
and huck and tess loved the smiths driveway and all their fun toys.
we had a perfect view of my favorite mountain on the way home. mt rainier!

sully's other best friend, our next door neighbor, johnny. i told sully that they are brothers from another mother and he loooooved that.

cotton is a good sport.
so is huck. i weaned him for our trip next week and he has done such a good job. im so proud of him. he loves his bottle. but also annnnnnny normal human food we give him. except lemon pasta. he didnt love that. 
primary easter song in sacrament. tess' first time up there!!!! tagg always looks like hes gonna puke. sully always gets the giggles and tess had starburst stuck in her teeth.



we had our friends over for an early easter dinner and an easter egg hunt.

baseball season has started. tagg and sully are having a great time and are doing so well. i do well when its sunny and warm at the games. so never.

my favorite little nugget ever. just learned how to turn around backwards and go down the stairs yesterday.

i tried making fancy buttercream flowers. it was very fun. 
the only way huck will "sit" in a cart or stroller. so yeah. useless.

our favorite babysitter and cousin turned 17 and had a surprise party.
