dear doctor ferber, i love you.
ok so tagg has been an awesome sleeper from day one. so i just assumed all babies were good sleepers. but then sully came along. he is a very good baby except when it comes to sleeping. a couple of nites ago i decided i was done. done with getting up several times each nite. i remembered that shanna swore by this book so i went and picked up a copy. three nites later..... sully slept about seven hours straight (compared to the two and a half or three hour stretches i used to have to deal with) seriously. this book is a winner. nothing too crazy. just logical steps to help babies sleep better.

xoxo
a well rested mama.

some short clips of my boys.....
sully continued to talk long after i turned the camera off. guess he realizes that he is going to have to do A LOT of gibbering to keep up with his older brother.

he is also reaaaalllly obsessed with blowing bubbles. he was doing it so loudly during relief society yesterday that i had to leave.

we stopped by the fun center for a minute so i could see tagg take a ride on the frog hopper. i swear, i could watch this clip 500 times and still laugh myself sick. the combination of tagg's happy little face + his head looking like a rag doll on the jolts down + taylor's laugh is just plain priceless.

the way hot chocolate should be
hotcocoa
i tried out this recipe for the first time last week and it is a winner. and a homemade marshmallow completes the experience.

hot chocolate
1 cup water
5 ounces unsweetened chocolate
2 cups sugar
1 pint whipping cream
milk

in a large saucepan, melt chocolate and water. add sugar, stirring until dissolved. cool and refrigerate. whip cream. add chocolate mixture and whip a little more. transfer to a container and store in refrigerator (stays fresh for about a week). to serve: add 2-3 heaping teaspoonfuls of chocolate mixture to hot milk. stir and enjoy.
